    1. This is the fourth Sam Adams book I've read, and I must say I have enjoyed it the most. I won't provide a synopsis of the story -- that has been done repeatedly. I will say that the emotion (parents do that to us don't they) and the excellent writing have provided a story that is hard to put down. The characters Ms. Shankman has created are full of life. Her writing style is engaging.

    2. Seventh in the Samantha Adams series, this adventure is set in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Sam receives a mysterious letter and goes in search of her mother who was supposed to have died years earlier. From the moment she sets off on her journey, she meets a number of characters whose paths intertwine.

    3. Fun stuff!!! Over the top eccentric and hilariously zany.a dark tip of the whodunit hat, cowgirl-up style. If I come across more titles in this dated series I'll be delighted to read them.

    4. This book totally cracked me up. I am amazed to see so few people have read and rated it. If you could use a good (but dark) laugh, get this book right now. Go on! What are you waiting for?
