    1. Another wonderful read! I finished this book in a day because it was sooooo good! I loved the book because of how ppl cared for one another and it included two of the cutest babies I've ever seen! I thought it was wrong of Kimmie to do and say what she did but, I also thought it wonderful at the same time. Does this make sense? Maybe not to some ppl but to me it did. Erica didn't ask to have anything dumped on her. But she did and I thought it was wonderful how she took responsibility when she d [...]

    2. Angelica returns home for the first time in seven years with her 6-year-old son who has leukemia. She's desperate for work, so she answers an ad from her former fiancé, Troy, to work on his dog rescue farm. When Angelica broke off their engagement, she left town with no explanation to Troy. When Troy sees her again, and with a young son, he feels she betrayed and cheated on him during their engagement. He wants to turn her away but finds he still has feelings for her, and he also can't resist h [...]

    3. Another great bookMindy, Susan, and Sam are my favorite characters so far. The author writes such real life stories that I feel like I know each character personally.

    4. Reviewed @ Thoughts By TashReview copy kindly provided by the publisher in exchange for a honest reviewAnother Christmas offering from Harlequin from their Love Inspired line, Secret Christmas Twin is a holiday romance with a twist. A secret twist that the hero and his grandfather aren’t privy to until it’s near the end of the book. Obviously it is going to cause havoc but it’s Christmas and it is a time for forgiveness right?Especially when it a promise of a new beginning and a beautiful [...]

    5. I read this whole story in one day. Started on the 10 th and finished that same night. The story revolves around looking at people not just on their looks on the outside but inside also and just because someone looks different

    6. I loved this sweet romance between introvert,Fern and extrovert Carlo. The characters were endearing, especially Mercedes.Being an introvert,I can relate to Fern and totally understand her feelings. We find that faith in God helps overcome all problems.I was honored to receive an autographed copy of this book and I'm honored to leave a review.

    7. This delightful Christmas book will be releasing on October 17, 2017. Story in a Nutshell: Erica and her twin baby boys arrive at the Stephanidis farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania shortly before Christmas, sent by her good friend, whose grandfather owns the farm. She has no idea that her friend’s brother, Jason, has returned home to help out on the farm. Both Erica and Jason have been wounded by life, and although they are drawn to each other, aided by the adorable twins, they have trust issues r [...]

    8. I loved this beautiful romance about second chances.Other than those cute six kids, I enjoyed the story line of diversity body image and the fact that we are God's creation. This book is recommended for those who love Christian romance. An ARC was given to me by author. My opinions are 100% my own.

    9. When Gina arrived in Rescue River with Bobby her life changed. When she meets Buck she never expects to find someone special like him. The characters in this book are all very special people. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. This book deserves a higher rating than a five star review. You won't be able to stop reading this book.

    10. Lee Tobin McClain and Love Inspired have released a touching story about a shy, young woman trying to find a family. Fern Eaton, librarian and aspiring author of children's books, has her life all planned out, but as we all know things don't always go as planned. When her friend, Kath, passes away Fern finds herself as foster mother to Mercedes, Kath's daughter, and hopefully her adopted mother. While house sitting a stranger, Carlo, arrives at the door seeking shelter. As a snowstorm sweeps in [...]

    11. Spoiler alert: This review gives away some facts in the story. The book was a lot of fun to read. It is a good story combined with a blizzard, an extra-large snowman, and a handsome stranger how can you go wrong with that combination? What I liked: I especially loved the beginning of the story: It begins with a blinding blizzard while our main character, Fern, and her daughter Mercedes welcome a beguiling stranger who ends up being a blessing in disguise into the home they are caring for. The time [...]

    12. Engaged to the Single Mom by Lee Tobin McClain is more than a Christian romance. This book delves into serious issues, cancer ,violence and broken dreams.I loved the character of Angelica and how she dealt with trauma and the life threatening illness of her son.The character of Troy shows us a man dealing with conflict and finding his way back to God's grace. If you are looking for a book with no conflict and forgiveness, then this is not the book for you. This book was another excellent book by L [...]

    13. I loved this book. Very well written and engaging from the first sentence. Introvert and extrovert meet during a heavy snow storm. Good character development with intense situations. Very clean and uplifting. Story line flows nicely. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

    14. I think the first important thing to clarify is that this book CAN be read as a standalone – in fact I had no idea there was a ‘book 1’ until after I had read this one. It appears that although each story is based on twins, they are not the same twins, situations, or people. Also, if you are like me, and tend to be hesitant about romance books – because to be honest, they can swing from great, to cheesy, to overly sexy (like it’s forced into the story) – you have nothing to fear with [...]

    15. Lee Tobin McClain always writes wonderful stories brimming with a believable and engaging plot, memorable main characters, cute children that melt your heart, and an encouraging faith-filled theme that speaks to every Christian. This book is no exception. I have not read any other books in the author's Rescue River series but didn't feel that I missed anything. This can be read as a stand-alone book with some secondary characters who were probably introduced in the previous books or will be intr [...]

    16. Secret Christmas Twins is about two people who are at a cross roads in their lives. When they are brought together unexpectedly, God intervenes in a most beautiful way. And He uses two adorable twin boys to make it all happen.Erica Lindholm befriends a drug addict named Kimmie who is dying of cancer. When she is called by her friend to take custody of her two twin sons, Erica agrees. She takes Kimmie's two fifteen month old sons and travels Kimmie's childhood home. Erica that there was a cabin t [...]

    17. What a fun, heart-warming book. I hadn't read any Lee Tobin McClain books until this one (though I have quite a few loaded on my Kindleat to-be-read mountain of mine seems insurmountable these days). This book was engaging and well-written. Those who enjoy contemporary inspirational romance will thoroughly enjoy this book. The author has an easy-to-read writing style that draws the reader in from the first chapter. Her dialogue is fresh and real. The storyline is never stagnant and the events th [...]

    18. A touching story about trust, loyalty, betrayal, forgiveness, family, and love. The story takes the reader on a deeply emotional journey where honesty and integrity hit the crossroads with promises made and trustworthiness is tested. Vito D'Angelo is in a tough spot. He made a promise to his dying friend, and that promise is about to compromise his own future, his own dreams, desires, and hopes. Vito's integrity, kindness, and caring heart make him an excellent hero, his dilemma with the promise [...]

    19. A heart warming story who's end made me bawl happy tears. I did find the story a bit heavy on the religious overtones; but many farming towns and recovering addicts (as well as family and friends of addicts) revolve around religion, or seeking their higher power. Add in the Christmas season and though it was a bit much to me, it suited the story, scene and characters. Erica is a sweet heroine, stronger than she realizes, who is also the main cause of conflict. Though it's also Kimmie to blame be [...]

    20. The things you do for friends! What do you do when you have a friend that has twins,an addict and has terminal cancer? Do you help them? Do you carry out the wishes of your friend and try to keep all the secrets or do you think you should have to come clean? Erica was placed in that situation thanks to her friend Kimmie. Story starts off with Erica and the twins going to stay at Kimmie's family farm to raise the twins. Erica not knowing anyone. Only hearing certain things about the family. Only [...]

    21. Lee Tobin McClain, thank you for letting me read and review this book. I'm really sorry it took me so long but I was injured and in a lot of pain when I request to read this.I hope you can forgive me!!I really enjoyed it! I do like the Love Inspired series. especially the Amish and Historical ones. This story was enjoyable because it was a little different than what I'm used to reading. I don't condone what happened in the story plot but I did enjoy young Charlie. I loved his energy while wishing [...]

    22. The Soldier's Secret Child is a lovely contemporary romance. This was the first Rescue River book I've read, but I wasn't lost at all. It can stand alone just fine.Vito's such a wonderful leading man. He's extremely loyal and just an all-around good guy. Lacey's a caring and sweet lady who's had a tough time since the death of her husband. They've been friends since they were young and are so good for each other, but the secret Vito's hiding from Lacey threatens to shatter her world. My heart ac [...]

    23. Lee Tobin McClain's latest novel is so sweet. Again, it's all about the premise. In The Soldier's Secret Child, Vito arrives back in his hometown with his foster son, anticipating that he can easily stay away from childhood friend Lacey. Easier said than done as he very quickly discovers that Nonna is living with Lacey because of some health problems and has therefore rented out his childhood home. With nowhere to stay, it quickly becomes obvious that Vito and Charlie should stay in Lacey's gues [...]

    24. Erica Lindholm and twin boys Mikey and Teddy are headed to Holly Creek Farm. Things seem to be going well until she encounters the one person she had hoped not to see, the twins’ uncle, Jason Stephanidis. Jason knows that there is something Erica is not telling him and his family, and as a detective, he is determined to find out what that is. If he learns the truth, it could change everything for everybody. Will Erica receive a holiday miracle or a holiday disaster? If you’re looking for a qu [...]

    25. What a book to review! This was one of the toughest books I have had to review in some times. Not because it was bad, because it was so wonderful in so many ways. All the through this story, my heart clenched and my mind was so totally wrapped up in what was happening that everything around me stop existing. A story of life, love, betrayal, renewal, and new love. A story of family, choices and children and how they can heal your heart. I must say this is one of the best contemporary books I have [...]

    26. Secret Christmas Twins a Christmas Twins series by Lee Tobin McClain. Jason Stephanidis lived with his grandfather. He has a sister, Kimmie, who left home and became a drug addict. Erica Lindholm met Kimmie at a meeting her mother was attending. When her mother passed away, Erica moved in with Kimmie to help her raise her twin boys. Kimmie found out she had cancer and was dying. She told Erica to take the twin boys and raise them. Kimmie left Erica her half of her grandfathers ranch. Erica takes [...]

    27. This is one of those authors that I always looks forward to her next book, and she didn't disappoint with this one. It is a wonderful combination of romance, faith, family secrets and a touch of suspense that had me pulled in from the first pages. I loved the characters, especially Charlie, and thoroughly enjoyed following Lacey and Vito's relationship develop as they tried to overcome the hurts of the past and find a second chance at love. It's also a beautiful story of God's love and forgivene [...]

    28. This is a great contemporary romance. Full of twist and turns, hurt, friendship, betrayal, love, family, forgiveness and so much more. This is in the Rescue River series yet is a stand alone book. I loved the way the author allows you to feel both Vito D'Angelo and Lacey McPherson feelings and thoughts.Vito is only trying to keep a promise to a dying friend, yet it may be the only thing that can actually keep him from finding true happiness.Lacey is a strong, fun widow trying to help out anyway [...]
